Postpartum and Newborn Care

The days and weeks after birth are tender, transformative, and deeply important. My care doesn’t end once your baby arrives—in fact, this is when support becomes even more meaningful.

I provide comprehensive postpartum and newborn care for the first six weeks after birth, ensuring that both you and your baby are adjusting, healing, and thriving.

Postpartum Support for You

Your body and heart are doing incredible work in the early weeks after birth. My postpartum care includes:

  • In-home visits to check on your physical recovery

  • Support with breastfeeding

  • Emotional and mental health check-ins

  • Guidance with rest, nutrition, and self-care

  • Space to process your birth experience and ask questions

Whether you need hands-on help or a listening ear, I’m here to support your healing and confidence as you step into parenthood.

Newborn Care

During each visit, I also gently monitor your baby’s health and development. This includes:

  • Newborn assessments (weight, reflexes, temperature, etc.)

  • Monitoring feeding and elimination

  • Screening for common newborn concerns

  • Supporting early bonding and family integration

All care is done respectfully and gently—often while your baby is in your arms or cuddled close.

Ongoing Support & Connection

While clinical care concludes at six weeks postpartum, our connection doesn’t have to. I remain available for check-ins, emotional support, and referrals to trusted local resources such as lactation consultants, pelvic floor therapists, counselors, and parent groups.

This season of adjustment takes time, and you deserve continued care as you grow into this next chapter.
